There's a British general election this week. Much more exciting though is the prospect of an election-themed new play from bold and experimental writer James Graham (who wrote This House and Privacy).

The drama doesn't study political arguments or issues but concentrates on the nuts-and-bolts of the voting process itself. It's set in a polling station during the last 90 minutes of voting and on election night itself (May 7) the show will be broadcast live on television (on More4) as the polls close. Possibly welcome relief from the endless speculation about the real event.
