Upcoming dance performances

Royal Ballet, Royal Opera House, Covent Garden

The nicest news of the week for dance lovers is the return to the Covent Garden stage of Ashton's joyous pastoral masterpiece La Fille mal gardee. This is a hymn to young love, to buoyant dancing, to the joys of soaring happiness. Fille comes back to the repertoire on Thursday evening with the delightful Laura Morera as Lise and Vadim Muntagirov making his first appearance as Colas. Prices range from £5 to £97.

On Tuesday evening you will find the latest triple bill from the Royal Ballet, with Balanchine's The Four Temperaments, MacMillan's Song of the Earth and the newly staged creation by Hofesh Shechter on view.
